Last week marked Eli's 6th week taking Karate class and he was invited to a belt testing ceremony. After a dramatic performance by the instuctors and demo team, the "Dragons" were tested on various techniques to determine if they could move up to the next belt level.
Of course, they all passed and were presented with an official certificate and brand new belt. Eli was thrilled to have Mom and Dad witness his special accomplishment!
(I even started tearing up, myself.)
So now, Eli proudly wears his "high-white" belt to Karate class and looks forward to earning his "gold" belt as soon as he gets all of his stripes. He has recently been invited to join the "Black Belt Club" for his demonstration of character and competence thus far. Way to go, Eli! Keep up the good work!!
