Last month, we took the boys to a Rough Riders game in Frisco. The best part was that we had a voucher for 4 free tickets! Eli was excited all day, but soon became bored once the game started. I guess baseball isn't as entertaining as he had thought. To their delight, Jerry bought a HUGE bucket of popcorn for the boys to share, which helped pass the time.
To my delight, there was also a playground at the stadium, which entertained the boys for at least another half-hour or so. On the way back to our seats, we picked up a soft pretzel for Dad, and two helmet bowls of ice cream for me and the boys. I remember those helmet bowls from when I was little, so I am so happy I have two of my own. Corny, I know....but sentimental to me :)
Towards the end of the game, Eli asked Jerry if he could sit in the stands (we were in the handicapped section since we had a stroller), so they went down and sat together---father and son. I could tell Eli felt cool sitting there next to Jerry....I just had to sneak a picture! Isaiah did amazingly well in his stroller, people watching, playing with his "baseball" and of course, enjoying all the popcorn he could eat!

The Big 1-0!
That's right, folks....Jerry and I just celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary! For those of you who thought we were too young to get married.....HA! Prooved you wrong!! Last weekend, Jerry and I dropped the boys off with some friends, while we enjoyed a "Couples Unity Massage" at the Embassy Suites Hotel. After a relaxing bath and hour-long massage, we concluded our evening with a meal at The Keg Steakhouse. It was nice to get out, just the two of us, for a few hours of uninterupted conversation (you parents know what I am talking about)!

Jerry and I both can't believe how far we have come over the last 10 years. Looking back, yes, we were definately two kids getting married....but 2 kids who were and still are committed to each other no matter what. Thank you Jerry for always sticking by me and loving me enough to help me grow in our relationship. I look forward whatever the next 10 years hold.....ready....set....let's go!!!
