Here is a little peek at the fireplace in our new house. Yes, we just recently bought a home and will be moving in next week! More pictures to come...

Attitude Adjustment

Right after the New Year, we started a reward system to help Eli with his four-year old attitude problem :) Once he earned 30 stickers, he would get a Smart Cycle bike. We used a strike system with 2 warnings and then loss of sticker and finally a grounding to his room. Eli took to this system very well, and I am happy to report a 75% improvement in his attitude.

Last night, Eli finished his reward chart and was so excited to ride his "cycle bike." He rode that thing for almost 2 hours straight until I made him take a break and come eat dinner! That boy has energy, I tell you :) Finally at bed time, Eli decided he needed a rest from his bike. What a great investment for expending energy and expanding the mind!

Isaiah's 1st Ride

Now that Isaiah is one year old, he can go on bike rides in the trailer. He was just too cute in his little helmet...I had to get a picture! The bike ride didn't last very long because Isaiah started to get fussy...his little helmet kept falling forward over his eyes :( Oh, well. Maybe next time will go better!
