The Circus is in Town

A few weeks ago, I thought it would be fun to take Eli to the circus in Frisco. He had never been before and was excited to eat some cotton candy! After buying 2 overpriced tickets and a $4.00 bag of cotton candy, we found some seats just as the show began. To Eli's dissappointment, the cotton candy was not as great a treat as he had imagined. He actually found the fuzzy texture repulsive, and so I ended up eating the entire bag myself!

After about 5-10 minutes watching the boring tigers and lame clowns, Eli was tugging on me to leave. I told him we were going to stay and get our money's worth, so he did his best to sit as patiently as any 4 year old can manage. Luckily, there was an intermission half way through the show and Eli got to jump out his energy in a bounce house (another $2).

The show concluded with balancing elephants, a motorcyle trick, and some dorky clowns (which Eli found hysterical). So after dropping almost $30, I left thinking we had wasted our money, but Eli wants to go back again next year! Maybe next time we will fork out the extra money for Barnum and Baley's Circus.
