My sister and her family flew out from CA to visit for a few days. We hadn't seen each other in over a year, so it was fun to see how much the kids had grown!
During their visit, we took them to the State Fair of Texas where the kids enjoyed the animals, rides, cotton candy, and the parade! Poor Eli got sick right as we were about to leave, but recovered by the morning :)
Isaiah and Avery met for the first time and were enthralled with each other. Isaiah would continually reach to touch Avery, and she would poke his eye and say, "baby." It was so cute!
The last day we took the kids to play at a pumpkin patch and then had dinner and Jerry's favorite restaurant, Texas Roadhouse. It was a great visit that went much smoother than any of us expected. Thanks for a great time, and we look forward to seeing you next time! Love you.

I am so glad you got time with you sister and her family. Makes it special the short time we spend with you. Karen you always make everyones visti so special. I can't wait until November it seems like the days are going by so slowly. Oh well! I send hugs and love and thanks for sharing,
